Prolonged Grief Disorder

Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) is a formal mental health diagnosis characterized by persistent, intense grief that causes significant functional impairment and does not resolve naturally over time. It is distinct from typical bereavement and other mental disorders such as major depressive disorder (MDD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
